June Meeting Location

The Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District in Santa Fe Springs will host the SCVCET Meeting on Tuesday June 17th at 10am. Thanks Greater LA!

Don't forget the next meeting will be held at the West Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District in Ontario on March 18th at 10 am.

If your agency is interested in hosting an up coming meeting we are still seeking locations for the September 16th and December 16th '08 meetings.

January Monthly Newsletter Items

Please post or email (lbabilo@ocvcd.org) any items for the January SCVCET Newsletter by Thursday 1/3/08. The monthly newsletter is intended for sharing important information and announcements. You are welcome/encourged to write brief articles on related topics and/or share helpful resource links.

Contribute to the Issues List

Mike and I are preparing a list of the issues that the Taskforce proposes to address based on comments & suggestions from the 12/18 meeting. Please post or email (asemrow@ocvcd.org)
any specific items/issues for consideration by the Taskforce. A draft of this list will be circulated in the coming weeks.

1st SCVCET Meeting

Thanks to all those who turned out for the inaugural SCVCET meeting earlier this week. The feedback has been positive and we are optimistic that this is the start of something meaningful that will bring about many necessary changes. Meeting minutes and the power point presentation will be made available soon for anyone interested.

Basic Steps to Creating a New Post

Here are some basic steps to Create a new Post:

1. In order to Create a new post, members must first sign in. The sign in link in on the top right hand corner of the web page.
   
2. Once signed in you will be redirected to the Blog Dashboard
   
3. On the Dashboard page, you are able to click on New post and create a new posting

Agenda Items - December 18th Meeting

We are preparing a brief presentation and the agenda for the inaugural meeting of SCVECT, which will be held two weeks from today @ OCVCD.

If you have any specific items that you would like the Taskforce to discuss/address at this first meeting or subsequent meetings please post them on the blog and/or email them to Mike at msaba@ocvcd.org.
